S-Plan  - HOT WATER CALLING

Live from programmer goes via cylinder thermostat to the appropriate 2-port zone valve. This causes the motor to drive the valve open. When the valve reaches the open position, a micro switch inside the motor head extends live supplied by terminal 1 on the grey wire out through the orange wire to terminal 10 where it fires the boiler.

Note: If both CH and HW call at the same time, both zone valves will open and live will be presented at terminal 10 from both valves and the boiler will remain on until both CH and HW are satisfied.
